Pesquisa micológica e análise de micotoxinas em alimentos não-convencionais para cães adultos

Resumo


A alimentação não convencional para cães tem ganhado o mercado com a promessa de oferecer um alimento mais saudável, em comparação com os industrializados. Objetivou-se com este estudo a pesquisa micológica e análise de micotoxinas desses alimentos. Foram avaliadas 44 amostras, de formulações variadas, de 15 empresas que comercializavam seus produtos na cidade de Belo Horizonte (MG), no período de agosto de 2019 a agosto de 2020. Realizou-se a identificação da micobiota de 12 amostras para cultura fúngica, definidas ao acaso e foram realizadas pesquisas das micotoxinas aflatoxinas, fumonisinas, deoxinivalenol, T2, ocratoxina e zearalenona, através do método Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) competitivo direto. Dentre os gêneros fúngicos isolados, foi detectada a presença de Penicillium spp. e Aspergillus spp., que são micotoxigênicos, em 58% das amostras analisadas. Porém, não foram detectadas micotoxinas nas amostras correspondentes. Foi identificada a presença de micotoxina em 27% das amostras, sendo que destas, 23% foi toxina T-2 e 4% aflatoxinas. Não foi identificada a co-ocorrência de mais de uma micotoxina em uma mesma amostra. Diante do exposto, conclui-se que os alimentos não convencionais analisados nesse estudo não são isentos de riscos micotoxicológicos e apresentam risco à saúde dos animais.
