Panorama global das estratégias de conservação aplicadas em catetos (Pecari tajacu). Uma Revisão
Resumo
A alta degradação ambiental, especialmente do bioma Caatinga, junto com a redução de mamíferos silvestres que compõem este ambiente, tais como os catetos, torna urgente o desenvolvimento de estratégias de conservação que possam ser aplicadas a esta espécie. Portanto, o conhecimento dos aspectos ecológicos, quantitativo populacional e estratégias que já foram desenvolvidas para a espécie poderão nortear os próximos passos que serão dados. Deste modo, o compilado das informações possibilitarão o direcionamento mais efetivo afim de evitar o declínio populacional dos catetos.
