Síndrome da fragilidade cutânea em felinos – Revisão de literatura
Resumo
A síndrome da fragilidade cutânea em felinos é uma doença não comumente observada na clínica veterinária de pequenos animais, caracterizada por alterações no mecanismo da síntese de colágeno, resultando em distensão exagerada e fragilidade cutânea. A afecção tem origem hereditária ou adquirida, porém sua patogenia ainda não é totalmente conhecida. Doenças de base, principalmente o hiperadrenocorticismo, podem desencadear o aparecimento da síndrome da fragilidade cutânea. O diagnóstico é feito através de anamnese detalhada, levando em consideração os achados clínicos e histórico do paciente. O exame histopatológico é utilizado como exame complementar, porém nem sempre é elucidativo, pois pode apresentar-se sem alterações. Não existe tratamento específico para a doença, devendo tratar a causa de base e dar suporte nutricional adequado aos animais acometidos. O objetivo deste trabalho é reunir informações relevantes sobre a afecção, alertando o médico veterinário sobre sua ocorrência.
